Ajan Chang's Number

What was I thinking? Sure, just put Ajan Chang's bank account number on the Internet and the temple will receive thousands upon thousands of donations... Of course not. Here's Ajan Chang's cellphone number, so you can find out more about what he's doing and arrange a visit. If you do not know Thai, you will need an interpreter:

Ajan Chang's Vision

Ajan Chang (pictured above) was given most of this land by his family. It is located near the Don Noi Wat, west of Nong Bua Lamphu. His plan is to buy the parcels close to Sili Wit Yo and eventually surround this samnak song by water and rice fields, holding the urbanization wave of Nong Bua on this side of its expansion. He needs help in the form of donations and prayers. If you can help, please see the donation information on this page.

Have questions? Additional information can be had by writing my wife and I at:

Thank you for visiting the Sili Wit Yo website.

Looking Out

Looking out from the meeting area.

Meeting Area

Ajan Chang designed this meeting area himself. Note water tank on top.

Monk's Retreat

Here is a picture of the newly finished monk's retreat built over the northside canal (see image below). Picture taken in 2005.

Surrounded by Water

An important element in Ajan Chang's plan for Sili Wit Yo is its eventual encirclement by water. This image, taken in 2004, shows the canal being dug on the north side of the property.
